Aldo Vassallo is a visionary storyteller, award-winning film director, and dynamic producer from the colorful streets of Barranquilla, Colombia, and now calls New York City home. While his work has received recognition, including accolades for his latest short film "The Game" at notable festivals such as New Filmmakers LA, NY Shorts International Film Festival, and Queens World Film Festival, Aldo remains grounded in his pursuit of authentic storytelling.

Graduating from The City College of New York with a BFA in Film Production, Aldo draws inspiration from his personal journey as a Latino immigrant navigating the intricacies of suburban life. Through his films, he aims to shed light on the universal themes of struggle and resilience, seeking not only to share his own experiences but also to foster connection and understanding among audiences. In addition to his creative endeavors, Aldo initiated the local indie short film festival "VOIDfest," providing a platform for emerging filmmakers to showcase their talents and fostering a sense of community within the industry.

With a quiet determination and a genuine desire to make meaningful contributions to the world of cinema, Aldo continues to hone his craft, driven by a deep-seated passion for movies and a commitment to raw and authentic storytelling.
